AADMD Education Conference          June 29- July 1, 2018

The AADMD 16th Annual Education Conference on health and healthcare for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities is being held at the Marriott Waterfront in Seattle, Washington in conjunction with the 2018 Special Olympics USA Games.

The One Voice conference will bring business leaders and IDD professionals together to ignite change. During this 2 1/2 day conference, attendees will hear from top keynote speakers, meet company CEOs paving the way for inclusive health, participate in topical discussions and breakout sessions - not to mention network with top medical professionals dedicated to inclusive healthcare. 

NTG Program Day:  On Friday, AADMD's project group, the National Task Group on Intellectual Disabilities and Dementia Practices (NTG) will hold a unique forum focused on aging neuropath-ologies, assessments and supports and services for adults with IDD affected by dementia.  

Joint Summit: AADMD & Special Olympics will host a joint summit on Saturday with 400+ representatives from corporations that are leading the charge for inclusive healthcare.  This high-profile part of the meeting will be televised and is a chance for businesses to learn more about how they can close the heathcare disparity gap for people with IDD.

Vendors:  New this year!  Companies will have the opportunity to display their products and connect with attendees.  The fair includes a vendor raffle designed for attendees to learn about key players in IDD and have the chance to take home prizes.  

AADMD Membership Discount:  All conference attendees are eligible for a 20% discount on AADMD annual membership dues. Associate Membership, normally $100 per year, will be discounted to $80 per year and Professional Membership, normally $150 will be discounted to $120 per year. The discount is available to new, current, and previous AADMD members.

CME/CDE Credit:  The conference will be offered for CME and CDE only.  Other professionals may receive certificates for CME or CDE and submit them to their professional bodies.   Often these are recognized for purposes of continuing education credit.   

Hotel:  A block of rooms has been reserved for conference participants at the Marriott Seattle Waterfront. Marriott Seattle Waterfront is currently sold out, but you can make your hotel reservations through the link provided below at the overflow hotels.  The link will be provided  again at the end of your conference registration.
